Ordering & Payment

1. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. We also offer checkout via PayPal for your convenience.

2. Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. Your security is our top priority. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways (Stripe and PayPal). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information. Our entire website is encrypted with SSL technology to protect your data. For more details, please see our Payment Policy.

3. How do I know my order was placed successfully?

After your payment is successfully processed, you will be redirected to an order confirmation page. You will also immediately receive an order confirmation email with your receipt and order details. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

4. Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order as long as it has not yet entered the processing stage. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] with your order number. Once an order is being processed, it cannot be canceled but can be returned according to our Refund and Returns Policy.

5. How is sales tax calculated?

Sales tax is required by law and is calculated automatically at checkout based on your specific shipping address. The final tax amount will be clearly displayed for your review before you complete your purchase.

Shipping & Delivery

6. Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to all addresses within the United States. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses at this time.

7. How much does shipping cost?

We offer a flat-rate shipping fee of $7.99 for orders under $199. Orders of $199 or more receive free shipping!

8. How long will it take to receive my order?

Our total estimated delivery time is 7-11 business days. This is a combination of:

  • Order Processing: 2-4 business days

  • Shipping Transit: 5-7 business days

9. How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes a USPS tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active.

10. My tracking says “Delivered,” but I don’t have my package. What should I do?

Sometimes packages are scanned as “delivered” prematurely. We recommend first checking with neighbors or your building’s mailroom and waiting 24 hours. If your package still hasn’t arrived, please contact us at [email protected], and we will help you investigate.

Returns & Exchanges

11. What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, books must be in their original, unread condition. For complete details, please read our Refund and Returns Policy

12. How do I start a return?

Simply email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the next steps.

13. Who pays for return shipping?

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for standard returns (e.g., changing your mind). If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, Bookseedlings will cover the return shipping costs.

14. How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once we receive and approve your return, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.

15. Do you offer exchanges?

The fastest way to get the book you want is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order.
