At Bookseedlings, we believe the journey of a new book to its reader should be simple, clear, and reliable. Our shipping policy is designed to provide you with all the necessary information, ensuring a smooth and transparent process from the moment you click “purchase” until your books arrive at your doorstep.
1. Order Processing and Delivery Timeline
To give you a clear picture of when to expect your books, we’ve broken down our timeline. Please note that all timeframes are in business days, which are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Order Handling Time: Once your order is placed, our team needs 2 to 4 business days to carefully pick, pack, and prepare your books for their journey. Our operational hours for processing are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT).

Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 6:00 PM PT on a business day will begin processing on the following business day.

Shipping Transit Time: After your package has been handed off to our carrier, it will take an estimated 5 to 7 business days to arrive at your location.

Total Estimated Delivery Time: You can typically expect your order to arrive within 7 to 11 business days from the date of purchase.
2. Shipping Rates & Carrier
We aim for a straightforward and fair pricing structure for shipping.

Shipping Carrier: All our orders are proudly shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Free Shipping: We are pleased to offer free shipping on all orders totaling $199 or more.

Flat Rate Shipping: For all orders under $199, a flat shipping fee of $7.99 will be applied.
This flat fee is all-inclusive, covering postage, packaging, and handling. There are no hidden charges.

3. Shipment Tracking
Once your order has left our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your USPS tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the progress of your delivery on the USPS website.
4. Shipping Area & Restrictions

Shipping Destinations: We currently ship exclusively within the United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Address Restrictions: To ensure secure and timely delivery, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Please provide a physical street address for delivery.
5. Sales Tax
As a registered U.S. business, Bookseedlings is required by law to collect sales tax on applicable orders. The exact tax amount is not a fee from us but is determined by your state and local tax laws. It will be calculated and clearly displayed on the checkout page after you enter your shipping address and before you finalize your payment.
6. Addressing Order & Delivery Issues

Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Bookseedlings is not liable for orders lost or returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

Damaged or Lost Packages: We package our books with care, but if your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Please provide your order number and photos of the damage. We are committed to resolving these issues within 5-7 business days by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.

Delayed or Out-of-Stock Items: In the rare event an item in your order is out of stock or unexpectedly delayed, we will contact you via email right away to inform you of the situation and offer solutions, such as a partial shipment, a replacement item, or a full refund.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can only accommodate changes or cancellations before the order has been processed and a tracking number has been generated. Once the order is in the shipping process, it can no longer be modified.
