It may include the sharing of information, such as cookies, IP addresses, and browsing behavior, with third-party partners for analytics or for cross-context behavioral advertising (i.e., showing you personalized ads on other websites).

3. How to Opt-Out of the Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

You have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information at any time. To submit an opt-out request, please use the following method:

  • By Email: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request”. Please include your name and email address in the body of the message so we can identify you in our systems.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): Please note that our website is not currently configured to automatically respond to browser-based opt-out signals like the Global Privacy Control (GPC). To ensure your opt-out request is processed, you must use the email method described above.

4. Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing your request. We may require you to provide additional information that matches the information we have on file for you, such as a recent order number or shipping address.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. An authorized agent must provide proof of their authorization, and we may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us.

5. Important Notes

  • Opting out of the sale or sharing of your information does not mean you will stop seeing all advertisements from Bookseedlings. It means that we will not share your information with third parties to deliver personalized ads.

  • This opt-out is separate from our marketing email list. To unsubscribe from marketing emails, please use the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email from us.
