1. Order Processing & Handling

  • Processing Time: Your order will be carefully processed and prepared for shipment within 2-4 business days.

  • Operating Hours: Our business days are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT), excluding U.S. federal holidays.

  • Order Cut-Off Time: To ensure your order begins processing on the next business day, please place it before our daily cut-off time of 6:00 PM (PT).

  • Holiday Shipping: During peak seasons (such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the December holidays), processing times may be extended. We recommend placing orders early to avoid potential delays.

2. Shipping Timelines & Delivery

  • Shipping Carrier: We proudly partner with USPS to deliver your books safely.

  • Shipping Time: After your order has been processed, please allow an additional 5-7 business days for transit and delivery.

  • Total Estimated Delivery Time: Your total expected delivery time is: Processing Time (2-4 business days) + Shipping Time (5-7 business days) = Approximately 7-11 business days.

  • Multiple Shipments: To ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible, your order may occasionally be sent in multiple shipments at no additional cost to you.

3. Shipping Rates & Charges

  • Free Shipping: All orders with a subtotal of $199 or more qualify for free standard shipping.

  • Standard Shipping Fee: For orders under $199, a flat-rate shipping fee of $7.99 will be applied.

  • Handling Charges: All costs associated with packing materials and labor are included in the shipping fee.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation email containing a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active in the USPS system.

5. Shipping Area & Restrictions

  • Shipping Area: At this time, Bookseedlings only ships to addresses within the United States.

  • Shipping Restrictions: We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO).

6. Taxes

Sales tax is required by law and will be calculated during checkout based on your specific shipping address. The final tax amount will be clearly displayed for your review before you complete your purchase.

7. Delivery Issues & Address Accuracy

  • Address Accuracy: The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Bookseedlings is not liable for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect address information.

  • Packages Marked as Delivered but Not Received: If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please:

    1. Check with other members of your household, neighbors, or your building’s mailroom.

    2. Wait 24 hours, as packages are sometimes scanned as “delivered” prematurely.

    3. If you still cannot find your package, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

  • Undeliverable or Refused Packages: If a package is returned to us as “undeliverable” due to an incorrect address or is refused by the recipient, the original shipping fee is non-refundable. We will contact you to arrange for re-shipment at an additional shipping cost.

  • Lost or Damaged Items: If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days. Provide your order number and photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue promptly.

  • Issue Resolution Time: We are committed to resolving all shipping-related issues within 5-7 business days.

8. Delayed or Out-of-Stock Items

In the rare event an item is out of stock, we will notify you immediately via email to provide alternative options, such as waiting for a restock or receiving a refund for that item.
